Female-fronted original + cover band playing hits from the 1960s to present

Dr. Jason Winikoff is a drummer, percussionist, bandleader, and ethnomusicologist who recently relocated to Connecticut. Though born in New Jersey, music has taken him from Vancouver to Zambia and many places in between. The perpetual student, Winikoff dedicates his artistic practice to the locations and musical cultures that have shaped him. Having cut his teeth in New Orleans, he is especially drawn to the vast musical landscape of the Crescent City. As such, the Jason Winikoff Trio performs music of the often-overlooked second wave of New Orleanian jazz composers. This repertoire includes songs by Harold Battiste, Ellis Marsalis, James Black, and their contemporaries. Expect beautiful ballads, bouncy bop tunes, and driving modern compositions that challenge notions of a static New Orleanian sound. All the while recognizing the deep lineage these songs derive from, the Jason Winikoff Trio also frequently sneaks traditional jazz into sets - showcasing the diverse shapes this art form can take. Joining Winikoff are some of the region's finest jazz musicians.

Matt McNulty is the guitar player and lead singer for Talkpeck Soundsystem, a dynamic tribute project that brings the music of Talking Heads, Vulfpeck, and LCD SoundSystem to life through high-energy live performances.

The Bernadettes specialize in performing R&B/Soul & Dance music. They mix it up with a few modern contemporary dance hits here and there, a classic rock number, some soulful ballads or an oldies favorite, but even though their musical nature is eclectic, the emphasis is on the classic "old school" R&B.

Mojo and The Mayhem started because we like playing music together; that's really the beginning and the end of it. All we want to do is put on great shows with our friends and put out great music that we (and hopefully you) enjoy listening to!
Everyone in the band has a unique style, story, and sense of humor. Aidan and Jimmy, for example, can spend half of band practice quoting The Office at each other, laughing hysterically the whole time. What Im trying to say is, what makes this band so special (if I do say so myself) is the weirdness, the attitude, and the passion for the groove. EASTBOUND: born from the Norwalk and Weston music scenes — unites members of Juicebox (Norwalk, CT) and Caravan (Weston, CT) Jessie Herman [Guitar/ Vocals], Noah Benson [Guitar/ Vocals], Trevor McGee [Keys/ Vocals], Sam Bliss [Bass/ Vocals], and, Ben Jachimczyk [Drums] into a energetic live collective. With deep roots in the local circuit and a long shared history of jamming, EASTBOUND channels a love of spontaneous performance into psychedelic grooves, inspired reinterpretations of favorites, and free-flowing improvisation. Expect high-energy shows built around exploratory jams, and moments that take familiar songs into new, unexpected directions. Formed by Matt James, Chris Wilson, and Matt Christoforo, Phatt James channels the essence of iconic rock bands such as Red Hot Chili Peppers and Incubus, formulating a familiar but original sound that serves as an inviting foundation for thoughtful lyrics. This year, the trio has continued to thrill the New York tri-state area with a number of memorable performances and has begun to establish its presence nationally, garnering praise from a number of blogs and podcasts around the United States and receiving airplay on college radio stations such as WQAQ (Quinnipiac University), WNHU (University of New Haven), and WHIP (Temple University).

Connecticut-based band, The Juicy Grapes play songs filled with dance-introducing rhythms and sultry harmonies led by the soulful Tara on Vocals. The music seamlessly blends funk, rock and soul, with an old-school sensibility that embraces concepts like “love,” “peace,” and all those other written-off ideals. Somehow, The Juicy Grapes can sing about believing in love, respecting one another, reaching for the stars and even skinny dipping without sounding corny. It has something to do with their style-songs that encourage bouncing and coerce even reluctant audience members onto the dance floor-and something to do with their emotional investment. The Juicy Grapes love to create a scene that’s high and grooves on good vibes.

Frank and Jim Kovac combine over 30 years of music experience and a craving for originality to create Kovac Brothers. The sound emerges with a courageous style of Rock, with a Country-Jazz Spice! Drawing on their unique experiences the brothers instinctively realized how to work towards making music that had mass appeal but was interesting enough to hold the attention of the most discerning listener. Their first album “Seeing is Believing” revealed a wide range of influences and their new material has displayed this trend with a bit more risk taking. Moreover, their interesting versions of various covers are creative and just fun, ranging from TLC, The Grateful Dead, Steely Dan, The Meters, Beyonce, and beyond. For every listener there is always a surprise about to be heard.
